What books do you read your preschoolers?
My son also likes Dr.Seuss - the beginner Dr. Seuss books like Hop on Pop, One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, Dr. Seuss ABC's, The Cat in the Hat, etc. As far as what author is "in" I'm not really sure if there is one, but my son seems to love books based on TV shows like Wonder Pets and Yo Gabba Gabba books. He also has a bunch of Baby Einstein books he likes... the author Sandra Boynton makes some good board books like Moo Ba La La La and Snuggle Puppy. Also my son likes the Eric Carle book called A Very Busy Spider. He likes clic books too like Old MacDonald. I'd say get anything your daughter likes - check out bn.com (Barnes & Noble) to browse childrens books for age 0-2. I would try to stick to board books for now and the shorter the better (rhyming books are good) because at 13 months there attention span is still pretty limited.
