Is nudity really that bad?

I always thought that nudity was a dirty thing done only by dirty people. till i discovered that several people i respected incl. angelina jolie, christian bale etc. have done it. It also seems ever to rise with the modeling industry idolizing it. So is it okay or are people getting dirtier?
