What do you think i should do?

If you were in a long distance relationship for three yrs would you be annoyed if a boyf never called you. Even if you expressed you wanted a call mayb once a week so you can keep the contact? My boyf is nice in other ways but it bugs me that he will not call me its not like i am a stranger and i have said it a few times, hel ring for a time and then thats it. Im having huge doubts that i can be with him because i think people should compromise. He cannot stand arguing and just aks me to not argue over it anymore but where is the consideration there for me? my instinct is telling me that he isnt the right man for me. Im not clingy i just want to be able to trust that if i ever needed to call him i could but he is WAY too independent for me he lives his life like Im not there sometimes i love him lots and he says hes never loves me we have great times togeter but why am i feeling like hes only hald interested? he wouldnt cheat but thats no good if someone isnt there for you.Are there reasons guys act like this?
