I have a virus on my laptop?

So I got a new laptop for college in February and just last month I got a virus on it. Apparently someone has remote control of my laptop and they've turned off my internet connection. I have no idea on to what I should do. I only went to sites like Facebook, Twitter, and this site called tv-links.eu it gives you tv shows you can watch and them plays on megavideo. So I'm guessing that's the site I got the virus from. Idk what to do I really need your guys help :(
