I need help BAD!i need more answers.PLLEASEE help?!?

i like him a lot, and were like super close, and were best friends, but i dont want to tell him that i like him bc it might ruin our friendship, but i do bc everyone tells me how he talks about me 24/7 and says stuff like "shes so amazing" or "shes the closest girl to me physically and emotionally" or something like that, but when its just me and him talking he can be kind of jerky once he says something sweet to me. its like he doesnt mean the sweet things bc he just insulted me, but he also stares at me a lot, and thinks i am beautiful, or is he just being a good friend and want me to feel good about myself?i just dont know.what do you think?help?please?
