I have shingles but not a lot of pain, is this normal?

Did the doctor give you a shot, and some pills to take? You should stay off work for at least 7-10 days. You are very lucky that you are not having a lot of pain. I had most of my pain the 4 days before I broke out, I thought I had appendicitis and had a cat scan, then I broke out. Good Luck, glad you are doing ok...mine were extremely painful
