Would this be ok to house bettas in?

i have a old 10 gallon goldfish tank (the goldfish were moved to my bigger 200 gallon tank). I really want to get some more bettas because i had some when i was younger. So what i was gong to do was put a couple dividers in down the middle both ways so it kind of looked like a cross will this be ok. Also please just answer the question i have i dont want to hear anything else about bettas alright?
