My sugar gliders smell?

ive had them for a couple of weeks and im scared im not feeding them right. when i take them out to play they poop a lot. like 10 droppings between the two of them. i dont know if its cuz the poo touches on them when there in the cloth, or im not feeding them right. Heres my routine-during the day i give them various licks of vanilla yogurt. in there cage i have pellets available all day. At night i make a concoction of pear, apple, and melon. So my question is do they smell from there poop or from me not feeding them right?
