Has the new 'green' society made any impact on your christmas decorating traditions?

are christmas trees going to become a thing of the past? or are we going to use smaller ones like a "charlie 'green' tree" (formerly the charlie brown tree lol)? or artificial? Or is the whole concept of decorations so completely against the efficiency preservation that people are going to just stop decorating? Or have financial issues prevented you from decorating as you normally would?
